I am a small breeder and my yorkies weigh around 7 lbs. I feed Nutro Litr which had 14% crude protein. Is this to low for breeding?

Nutro at 14% crude protein is too low for breeding. Malnutrition, including a lack of protein, during pregnancy can cause numerous issues for your female as well as the puppies.

You should look at diets with around 29 protein and make sure your female is on an adequate diet for several months prior to breeding to make sure she is adequately nourished to take on the task and stress of becoming a mother.
