Sometime fussy eater

Question
Is there anything that I can sprinkle on my dogs food from my spice collection, that will entice her to eat. Sometimes she will chow down and sometimes she just looks at her food and then looks at me like she's saying  "This again?" I tried sprinkling a little Parmesan Cheese which she does like sometimes, but I'm not sure if this is good for her.

If your dog is a fussy eater or is not eating at all, then I assume she has been checked out thoroughly by a vet?? Hope so. After this, please do  not rely on a vet to suggest good nutrition cause it won't happen.

This sounds like a simple problem to me though I could be wrong. But parmesan cheese is full of additives and preservatives and I really wouldn't give it to my dog. I am going to suggest that your dog is not hungry enough because of either not enough exercise to too many inbetween treats.

Do you free feed? If so, stop this and feed at scheduled times.What are you feeding your dog? Almost all of the foods on the market are loaded with synthetics and preservatives of one kind or another and maybe your dog just doesn't feel all that well on what you are feeding.

But the first order of business is to stop all treats during the day. The second is to exercise him/her more. The third is to feed  her small amts a couple of times a day rather than just one big feeding. The fourth is to not give her any access to food unless YOU put it down.

If you have to sprinkle anything on her food then something is wrong with the entire picture. This is why I am trying to help suggest things. I really want to know what you are feeding her to perhaps make her fussy? Are you homecooking? Kibble only? Canned only? What type of protein are you giving her? What kind of dog is she?
