my puppy and his eating habbits

hi,
my newly adopted puppy, woobie, is refusing to eat any food that is given except for lunch meats like salami, ham, turkey, ect. but i know that i cannot feed him these forever. the reason he is refusing to eat his dog food is because he is eating bugs, im assuming this was all he had to eat at his last home, so how do i change this now that he has food available to him?

What do you mean "all he had to eat was bugs"? A growing pup has important nutritional needs which will not be met by feeding salami. What foods have you been using? Some of the premium diets now available are very palatable. What part of the world are you in?
