A natural food option for Bladder stones

Question
My 7 year old 12lb Yorkshire Terrier Kiwi recently had surgery to remove bladder stones and per the vet's recommendation I have been feeding her Hills Science Diet u/d. I have read alot of bad comments on this food and would like to find something else to feed her or even prepare her food myself. The stones were analyzed and they were calcium oxalate. Could you please recommend something else.
Thank you

Answer
Hi Denise - The food your dog is on is not too bad but not too good either... I would refer you to the following plan

No treats unless you can make them yourself - the link in below for this:
Next - the key to this is quality foods and hydration... Lots of fluids.

I would feed her Innova EVO and mix it with the Science Diet for one month.  Then I would go 100% Innova EVO - the canned and dry kind of the EVO - Wet food is a plus because it has the water in it...More fluids for the little Yorkie kid! Do a 50/50 canned to dry of Innova Evo.

Also, NuVET Plus - Please order this Immune System Booster and healer.. Excellent to help with elimination of waists, too.
This will cost you about .50 cents per day and it is well worth the cost.  Please give this every day, always...
Here is a the web site for your review of the NuVET plus - Make sure you tell them Marie sent you / YOU must have a vet or breeder referral to order from the company: VET/BREEDER Number is 81098.

Look forward to working with you.

Also, you may want to ad some Pedilyte to her water dish.. I don't know if she will like it but you can add a flavored one.  A few times a week will give her extra electrolytes.  Another way is to make Pedilyte ice cubes and place one in her water dish.

I will be glad to add some other supplements to her program over time. Let's make the first changes and see how she does.
Take it all very slowly

Any questions...Please ask me
