Growth rate of Standard Poodles

Question
What is the average age that standard poodles are full grown, in their height?

Answer
Hello Leisa,
The average age that a Std Poodle will get their full height is around 9 months to a year of age.  They tend to fill out until they are 2 yrs old, but their full height is usually achieved around a year old.

Judging what the height of the Poodle will be can be harder to guess at.
While the standard for the Std Poodle is anything above 15 inches at the shoulder, males tend to be larger than females usually standing 24-26 inches at the shoulder while females tend to average 22-24 inches at the shoulder.
Genetics tend to play a part in how large the dog will be.  Poodles from larger sire and dams tend to be larger than the average while poodles from smaller sire and dams tend to be under the average.

I hope this has answered your question.  If you have other questions for me about Poodles or dogs in general, please feel free to ask.
