Question
I have a standard x mini poodle. After walking for about 30 mins or throwing the ball for about 10 mins she gets very tired and just wants to lay down and rest, is this usual/5

Answer
Hello Marilyn,
You didn't say how old your dog is, but this isn't normally common.

Most Poodles are very outgoing, with higher energy levels and they love to play.  I have an 11 yr old Standard that still runs and catches Frizbees.  He loves to play outdoors, and can usually romp and play for about 30 minutes before he wants to rest.
If your dog is young and likes to play then her getting tired after 10 minutes of rough play isn't normal and should be checked out.

A disease called Cushing's Disease can cause lethargy in dogs and also can make the dog very thristy and need to urinate alot.   Narcolepsy is also disease that will make a dog sleepy (and in severe cases make the dog just drop asleep instantly) if the dog gets to excited.

You might want to let your Vet know what is going on with your dog, and see what they say.  They may want to do some bloodwork or try some tests to see what they say.

I hope this helps you some.  If you have other questions for me, please feel free to ask.
