my 3 month old female blue pup is about 22 pounds i was wondering is that big for her age?

A lot of how much a dog weighs depends on its proportions (i.e. height, length, muscle and fat amounts), so it is hard to say without actually seeing your dog. However, I looked back through the papers from my veterinarian, and my female dog weighed 10.2lbs at 8 weeks and 13.6lbs at 10 weeks, and those were considered normal weights for MY dog. It doesn't really sound to me like your dog is overweight, but I could be wrong. If her weight is a concern for you (which it sounds like it is) then I suggest asking your veterinarian. They would already know what body type she has and would be able to give you a more accurate guideline to follow. I apologize- I know that probably doesn't help you much, but that is really all I can tell you.
