Purebred or not, shall I write a post against the breeder???

Question
Hi, I got this sweet little guy a few weeks ago as a "purebred maltese" with no papers. I just met the mom and the sister, and they look pretty maltese to me. Mommy is 5 pounds, the not available daddy is "by word of mouth" 7 pounds and my male baby is almost 4 pounds at 16 weeks, is that right??? I'm also concerned about his general appearance because I haven't met other maltese puppies at that age, so I'd like to know your opinion, if it doesn't bother you. I love my little guy and wouldn't change him even for a champion dog or a maltese made in pure silver, but if he's not a real purebred, I'd like to make sure potential customers get aware of the breeder. And thank you for the other answers, as you may see, almost no more tear staining.

Aelius Maximus, aka Maxi, the little gladiator, at 16 weeks old.

Answer
WOW!!! he is georgeous how lovely great news with the tear staining.
Well firstly you need your papers state to the breeder you wish to kennel club register him and need the pedigree papers.
If he is not purebread then you may have paid far too much for him.
i had someone email me not long ago regarding purebread and i suggested contacting their local kennel club as they take these matters very seriously. You are right to be concerned im guessing you live in america so this should be the correct link http://www.akc.org/

ps did you use the eye envy on your pups eyes?
