Maltese chewing her fur.

Question
My 11 mos. old female maltese is eating the fur off of her front legs.  Now that
the hair is short she is beginning to turn her attention to her rear legs?  Help?

oh no have you been to your vets?
Sometimes this is how dogs reveal an underlying problem like athiritus as they are chewing at the legs due to the inside pain.
However if not the vets i believe can give you a foul tasting liquid that you apply so the dog will not want to chew it.
Bit a trip to the vets is definatley reccomended for a full MOT to check that she is ok.
