our labs bowel movements-too many?

Question
we have a male lab, approx. 6 years old, neutered.  He eats dry food ("Come n' Get it").  He has on the norm 2 bowel movements a day, but sometimes as many as 4 a day.  I feed him about 1-1 1/2 cups twice a day-once in the a.m., once in the p.m.  My husband is at his wit's end, and says he "poops" too much (the dog).  I've been told this is pretty normal.  I've even dropped his feeding to 1 cup twice a day, and he seems so hungry during the day.  Can you give some input?  thank you

Answer
Hello, Come and get it seems to be something I've nver heard of is it a cheap brand of kibble with little meat? sounds like a cheaper brand maybe tis not pelase let me know either way. I dont reccomend starving the dog my 75 pound female spayed 3 year old labrador retreiver eats 4 cups a day of Authority Lite adult kibble(avalbile only at Petsmart stores). Dogs in my experiance poop quite alot 2-5 times a day for an adult dog depending on what its eatting more for puppies.
