should my lab have rawhide

Question
someone told me that Lab's shouldn't have rawhide but something called Nylonide (probably spelled wrong) If this is true, why shouldn't she have rawhide?

Answer
Some say rawhides are bad I feed them and my dogs like them and theres not been a problem in three years so assume there safe. Rawhides are offen swollowed in large chunks by dogs and they cna gag on them or choke on them but my dogs hack and it comes back they finish chewing them and swollow whats left no problem...its up for debate it also swells in there stomach slightly as you'll notice if you take a chip hide and leave it in a tub of water for a few hours but like I said from our persoanl expericne in three years with three different dogs I've had not serius problems. Nylabones are good the druable ones are siutable for labs these are nylaonbones very hard unbreakable and last a very long time if the dog chews them only once in awhile and they also come in assorted flavors luring the dog to chew them.
