Lab retriever/seven month old

Question
I just got my lab a couple of weeks ago; I adopted him. He is a real cool pup; however, all of a sudden he does not want to eat. I am feeding him Pedigree for puppies. He eats twice a day. Now he just eats a little bit here and there, but never as before. What can I do? I need help.

Answer
If he is showing any other signs of sickness, get him to the vet before the weekend. Otherwise, cut back on what you are feeding him.  He should have nearly completed his growth, and need less now.  May as well change over to an adult chow too.  It may slow the remaining growth giving his joints more time to develop before bearing the full weight of an adult.  The worst thing you can do for a growing Lab is feed it too much of too rich of a diet.

Your dog definitely should be narrower at the waist than the hips and chest.
You should be able to easily feel the ribs, but not see them.  Each dog is
different.  Standard recommendations are a good place to start, but each dog
must have its food adjusted to its individual needs. Here is a link to a good illustrated guide,
