lepto virus shots

My son has a 3 and a half month old chocolate lab and this morning she had a rather serious allergic reaction to the lepto virus vaccine.  How common is this in labs and can you recommend any sites that would have info on the vaccine that applies specifically to labs?  Thanks for any help you can offer.  (She's our first lab; all our other dogs were English Setters)

Severe reactions to any shots is rare either among Labs or other breeds.  I can't think of any sites that have what you want.  Take a look at http://www.woodhavenlabs.com/articles.html  It is one of the more balanced sites on the web. Too many sites are put up by a kook with an agenda.  Two other sites I trust are www.akc.org and www.avma.org
