Black lab turning grey

Question

I have a 3 year old black Labrador bitch. Her fur color seems to be tuning grey at the roots. Is it normal. Is any thing required to be done to prevent it?

Hi Agnes,

Without looking at your lab i cannot comment on if there is anything to worry about. However, get your vet to suggest good hair tonics that can enhance the shine on your lab's coat.

You must also brush your lab daily for about 15 mins with a light and a heavy comb. It's required to ensure that only the 'good' hair stay and the 'bad' ones are weeded out.
