Question
hello. i have a 7 month old black lab and was wondering how much should i be feeding him.
also, how do i train him not to pull on the lead as i want him to walk beside my mums wheelchair without his feet going under the wheels. we have tried a stop pull harness and leather collar but do not want to use a choker chain. he also seems to pull more when he sees any sort of grass.

Answer
I typically use the guidelines on the bag of dog good as a good starting point.  My boys when they were that age were eating about 4 cups of kibble a day, broken into 2 meals.

The best way to learn to train a dog to walk nicely is to attend to dog training class as the instructor will give you hands on practice on how to do it, how to correct the dog and also give input with walking along side a wheelchair.

This is a good article that explains it, should you not want to go to a training class.
