leaving the dog at home

I am usually home most of the time but when I am not no one is here. My question how can I calm her down. She barks and breaks things in the  house.

Hello Susan and thank you for your question,

Your best bet is to buy a large or extra large d wire dog crate and put her in that when you leave the house, She will barka dn whin for the first week or so then she will understand that you do come home after work and let her out so all is well. Giving her a kong and a small bowl of food and maybe a dog water bottle would be perfect to keep her happy until you get back home. You can also put a blanket in tehre for her to lay on. If she is very excited when you first put her in the cage do take her collar off or she may get hooked somehow. Good luck with your girl.
