Shedding

Recently our 11 month old chocolate lab has encountered a shedding problem real bad to the point that I can sweep 2-3 daily and I get a huge ball of fur.. We have changed his food in the past month.. He has been to the vet we have done stool samples and nothing is found in his stool.. He is up to date on his shots. Wnat to know is this just his puppy fur/winter coat falling out.

If it has gotten worse since the food change, you might go back.  If it didn't help, I am not surprised.  The premium foods seldom live up to their hype.

Get a wire slicker brush and brush him good every day with it and see if things slow down in a week or 2.  If so, it was seasonal and you can go back to a soft bristled brush.
