Jack russell shakes

My jack russell shakes a lot, is this a normal trait for jack russells? He also licks his tongue a lot like he is trying to get something out of his mouth. Are these habits of the breed.

I have seen what you are talking about before. Both are perfectly normal. Of course, if he is shaking because he is cold or scared you'd have to do something to take care of that, but if he's just shaking for no reason, it is just who he is. It makes you feel terrible when you see it but it won't hurt him.  Good luck with your dog!
