Golden Retrievers Height

I have a Golden Retriever puppy. The guy i bought it from, said she was 50 days old. Meaning she would be 58 days old today, almost 8 weeks. We took her to a vet. yesterday & he told us that he did not believed she was 8 weeks old, because of her teeth. He believed she was about 16 weeks old. Is that possible, because she does not look big enough to be that old. Her weight is 7 1/2 lbs. What do you think about that?

Hmmm...it would be helpful if you have documents which include the date of birth of the dog. Im not sure if the vet is right or not. Here is what you should do. Take your dog to another pet and get a second opinion. IF your dog is really older than what the guy told you. Call the guy and tell him whats going on. He might be trying to sell dogs with defects that he couldnt sell when it really was 8weeks.
