Question
QUESTION: hi
i have a german shep x staff puppy he is 11 weeks. i would really love to know how big he will get i dont suppose you could help by giving me a rough guide? he has really small paws compaired to my friens jack russell pup at the same age.
many thanks

ANSWER: How much does he weigh now? Are you sure of the breed? Did you see both parents? Usually pups will weigh somewhere between both parents. Example if dad weighs 80 pounds and mom 45 pup will likely weigh around 55-60, but could weigh as little as 45 or as much as 60 :)

QUESTION: hi
dad was a pure german shep and mum was a staffie cross collie prob in between size. not sure what he weighs now sorry.
thanks clare

ANSWER: You can weigh him by weighing yourself first. Then step back on the scale holding puppy. Subtract your weight from that weight and voila, you have his weight :)
That'll give you a good idea of how much he will weigh as an adult. I would imagine he's going to be a pretty good sized boy considering his parentage.

Answer
Well yes and no. That is VERY small for the cross you mentioned. Most staff pups are at least fifteen pounds at that age, and GSD's are as well, and that is on the low side. You're sure of his age and parentage? Because that is more the weight of a beagle, or cocker spaniel at eleven weeks,
Wish I could be of more help. At that weight I would think he would be maybe a thirty pound dog TOPS
