Castration

Hi, I have a wonderful level headed 7 year old alsation-who has the dangerous tendency to roam who knows where if there is a bitch on heat. Is it too late to have him castrated????

I think the only honest answer is it may or may not help.  The earlier, the more effective.  I can say it may prevent some accidental litters.  I am not sure about Italy,  but here we are slaughtering millions of dogs due to a lack of homes.  I see little reason not to try.  Otherwise, his next adventure could be his last.  It may take a month or more before you see much difference.
