eating problems

Dear cindi
my wife and i have a white gsd who is 8 months old and in her first season,we are both worried that she is not eating as much as she used to do in fact she will go nearly a whole day without touching her food, we have not changed her diet which consists of 1 whole tin of puppy food,dry biscuit and a quater of fresh cooked chicken twice a day but she will ask for treats which we refuse to give as she has not eaten her meals we would be glad for any help possible.

You're doing a wonderful job of taking care of your baby! Sometimes they don't eat as much during their season as they normally do. I would just sort of wait it out and see how she does after she's back to normal. Meanwhile, try  not to make a big deal of whether she eats or not. That in itself can create problems.
