Hair Loss in Pomeranians.

My 15year old pomeranian has lost hair round his neck and all over his chest and stomach. The vet told me to bath him in baby shampoo twice a week but that is not helping. Could you possibly tell me what is causing this, and what I can do to stop this occuring?

There are a lot of reasons why a Pom has coat problems.

He could have the dandruff mite which is easily transmitted
from animal to animal.  It could be his dog food...he
could have allergies...

So I would suggest changing dog food.  I use Eukanuba
Premium Performance small bites and Chicken Soup for the
Soul....also get some liquid fish oil and put a small amount on his kibble.

If this doesn't work take him to the vet.
