An average size Boxer will weigh about 50-60 pounds at 2 years old.  Look at the recommended daily allowance on the food that you are feeding him (dog food of course) and go from there.  To keep its energy levels more consistent, 2 meals is ideal.  Split the RDA into 2 portions and space his meals evenly apart.  If he gets too chunky on the amount you've chosen, cut back, if he loses weight and doesn't need to, add more.
