Answer
If a vet hasn't diagnosed it and told you the allergies it could be- I would get a new vet.

She has food allergies.

You will have to buy her an all natural dog food with no corn and no corn glutens.

Go to any pet store or Online, and find a natural dog food that you can afford.

She can be allergic to dog foods- and I suggest a lamb or chicken and rice natural food until it clears up-- and feed her out of stainless steel bowls (both food and water) because Boxers are also prone to allergy of plastics.

Use a leather collar and not a nylon collar because they are prone to nylon allergies.

If it clears up but there is a little left- then there is also an environmental allergy as well. Smoking, or outside sources like hay fever and pollen-type allergies.

Once you have changed the food and bowls and collar, give it a few weeks. Then if she continue to have some allergy symptoms- talk to your (new) vet about giving her Benadryl-- he can tell you the correct dosage- as I do not recommend dosages Online.

This change should show improvement within a few weeks-- in the meantime, buy an antibiotic cream to put on her sores and try bathing her in an Aveeno Oatmeal bath. Do not use any shampoos- use Dawn dish soap instead. The oatmeal helps ease the itching and pain.
