Itchy bumps all over my 5 month old boxer

Hi,
I woke up this morning to find out that my white male boxer pup is covered in bumps. The size of the bumps range in size. He has been scratching at them and they seem to be very itchy. He sleeps in a crate at night, and I am thinking they might be from bug bites. Any idea on what it could be from and how I can make him less itchy?

Hi. It could be a few different things. It could be an allergic reaction to something, bug bites....I would take him tot he vet to see what's going on. There are things that the vet can prescribe to help with the itching. You can also use benedryl, but you need to ask your vet about the doseage. Your vet really needs to have a look at him to figure out what's going on before you start treating him. Good luck.
