Question
Hello Lisa,
Are pedigree papers really that important or are they just that a piece of paper stating hey I have a purebred dog?  We have a female who is full blooded but didn't come with papers and a full blooded male that is papered. Is there a way we can get her papered? People are always selling them with out papers, we just wanted a Boston so it didn't seem important to us. If we breed our Boston's can the puppies be papered?  Thanks for your help and God Bless.

Answer
Hi Michele,

Papers. We just about need them for everything, don't we. For our dogs, they are needed for show and breeding purposes. You should notice the pricing difference in a papered or non papered dog. If your dog isn't papered, unless the parents of her are papered, she cannot be. This in no way reflects on her quality. Just the sale pricing of any puppies she may have.
