ANSWER: Hi Wendy, Sure I can help..... Have you made sure there are no worms?  Most of the time 18 months or older will be worm free.
When they are having trouble and have a sensitive belly it can be parasites...

Ok, if you have ruled out the parasites, we can talk foods.
What are you currently feeding your Boston?  ( Flavor and Brand)

I have had great luck helping Bostons gain weight.

Please let me know if you Boston has had any medical problems.

QUESTION: Hi,Marie
Thank you for your fast response, wew tried all kinds of food including science diet,he would not like anything but a small tray of wet food called cesars its not the best but thats what he likes, we just want to make sure he is getting the proper nutrition, let us know what will be the best for our boston.Thank you for your help!

Answer
I am sorry you are having trouble finding a good food.
How about you try this:
Get Barking at the MOON dog food by Solid Gold.
This is a wonderful Dry food ; I would like you to mix the dry food with the Wet food you have been buying.
The Caesar brand is not too wonderful but it will be ok if we can get the Solid Gold into him.
It must be Solid Gold Barking at the Moon.  You can call around and see if the pet stores have it.  ( many do carry the Solid Gold brand).

So, Please do 1/2 cup of the dry food and 1 pat of the wet food ( 2x per day)
Start out slowly - After a few weeks, I would like to see you give him 3/4 cup of the dry and 1/2 pat of the wet food in the am.
In the pm just 1/2 cup of the dry dog food and 1/4 pat of the wet food.
Slowly get him off the Caesar dog food and pick a better quality wet food such as:
Solid Gold
Wellness
Merrick
Innova

If you can't find the Solid Gold, please get Innova EVO... Again, I would much rather see you find the Solid Gold Brand.

Also, let's give this kid some Pure Salmon oil - Just 1 teaspoon per day ( mixed into the dry food)
MUST be pure salmon oil - found at most pet stores.

Also, Last : NuVET Plus is a great supplement / build some bulk and helps with digestion.
