Bald spots on Beagle

Hi, My beagle is 4.5 months old.  He has 2 bald spots that he itches ocassionaly. he eats ANF Holistic puppy food mixed with scrambled eggs or canned chicken chunks and carrots. I don't see any more spots but how do i get rid of the present ones. the vet has prescribed fish oil and a dose of antihistamines.

I would look into seeing if your beagle has any kind of anxiety. Think of questions like: How many hours is he left alone?, Is he allergic to anything?. See if your VET can give him a stress test. Alot of animals will lose their hair over stress. I think the choice of feed you have chosen is ok, so don't worry about changing that. Also he is getting older and is an adult so his body is changing. Check with your vet about anxiety and stress and then comeback and tell me and I can give you some tips on how to improve anxiety.
