5 month old Beagle weeing inside.

In the past couple of days our five month old Beagle has started to wee inside on the floor "rug" for no apparent reason this is a total change in behavior as he is very good in the house training department, I understand that he is still a puppy and expect to have accidents but this is totally out of the norm as he does not make any effort to let us know he need to go.

At that age he probably won't let you know he has to go.Beagles are one of the hardest breeds of dogs to train. Its understandable that she having accidents she is still very young. It took me about 6 months to train Honey (my beagle). Somethings you should realize is she is small and still young which means her bladder is not fully developed so she can't hold it as long or as much as opposed to a older beagle, so there will be some accidents. Here are something points that I did with my beagle and that I have told customers and it helps. Get the training pads and put it in the place that she has accidents, then when she starts using the move them closer and closer to the door moving a little every two days or every other day. PRAISE is a big thing in this situation when she uses the pad reward her with a pat on the back and a treat. When she has a accident point your index finger at her and say NO! firmly. Also keep in mind that the portions of food you feed her will fluctuate when and how much she goes at that age you should only be feeding her half a cup 2-3 times a day, with unlimited access to water. Take her out 30-45 minutes after she eats and drinks in a area that feels secluded and safe. Let her do what she has to do and PRAISE PRAISE PRAISE, as well as demoting her when it doesn't happen outside or on the pads. I hope this has helped if you need anymore help please ask.
