QuestionMy family was adopted by a young bobcat a little over a month ago. We arent sure how old it is or if it is a boy or a girl. My husband thinks it is female, but can you tell me how to be positive on this. I also need to know the best diet for this cat, since I started feeding her cat food she is loosing weight.

She may be losing weight because cat food does not have adequate nutrients for a bobcat. Bobcats and house cats require different vitamins, nutrients, and minerals. Many bobcats that are kept as pets are not healthy and as a result they cannot walk and drag their feet and have many health problems, a may not live past a year or two.
