Sick owner

Question
I am in Junior High and a teacher at my school, knowing I am an animal person told me his friend is in the hospital with meningitis and will not be home for quite awhile.  His friend has three cats and needs someone to care for them while he is in the hospital.  I don't know anyone who could.  The sick man lives in Leviittown, Long Island, NY.  Please let me know if you have any suggestions.  Thank you!

there are such things as professional animal sitters..they go in the home and feed and clean the potty etc. have to pay for that tho. or there is the local vet, they will board them.

if this sick person is a friend of the teacher.....why doesnt the teacher go do it. thats what friends do.
