I am concern about possible danger of where she would put them (under the bed, closet etc.)  Would she move all of them? would they all be in the same spot? and if so do I return them to their secluded area?  I do work part time and is concern for their safety.  They are kept on the second floor of our house which has 3 bedrooms, laundry room, and soon-to-be bathroom ( that is where she is kept).  Down stairs I have 2 80lb boxers who don't know that she even exist.  Thank you in advance.

Answer
just follow her, if she tries to take them downstairs dont let her, try to guide her to a room with a door so you can shut the door while you are gone. she will move them all to one place. she doesnt need to move them at all, its just her instinct is telling her to move them. she will be much happier if she moves them. also, after she has weaned them, have her fixed, and you can have the kittens fixed as early as 6 weeks of age if the vet will do it that early. just do what makes sense when she makes them. if you want the dogs kept away from her, then  follow her when she tries to move them, she might just lay the baby back down if you try to follow her.
