Question
I've been a tenant in a house. I have a cat, and I like it so much, because he is goddamn beautiful, brightwhite. Usually he can understand me, listens to what I say....but he has one big problem...and I'm kinda confused about it...everytime he needs to pee or shit...he goes to upstairs to the landlord's room and does what he just can't but do...now my question is...how to make him go downstairs...?

Answer
I am assuming he's using a litter box that belongs to your landlord's kitty?  Is it quieter up in your landlord's room?  That's the only thing I could imagine that causes your kitty to use the upstairs instead of the downstairs.  See if moving his box downstairs to a quieter location helps, some place away from noise and foot traffic.  Also make sure your kitty's litter box is scooped out at least once daily and dumped out, washed and refilled weekly.  And you can try different types of litters.  There's one on the market called Cat Attract that might be a good choice to help him prefer his box over the landlord's cat's.  You can find a retailer at www.preciouscat.com.  Other than that, the best I can suggest is to keep him behind closed doors so that he can't wander.
