calico cat behavior traits

We have a calico cat, we got her at 8 weeks old.  Our pet doctor said that calico cats are Wacky (not quite the word I'm looking for). Are there different characteristics common among calico cats?

Our cat, Tess, is a tease, she isn't needy although she is like most cats and likes to be held or petted when she wants it, it has to be her idea.  She has to be with us yet on her own.  I think she gets bored easily.  Can you please fill us in if there is anything extraordinary about calico's?

PS  I'm glad we didn't get her sister too!  She is my first kitten!

There is much mythology about the personalities of tortoiseshell and calico cats.  My favorite is that they are like candy bars: A little sweet and a lot of nuts!

I have not noticed any real attitude beyond any other colors with Calicos, but there have been those that are a bit of a challenge.

However, there must be some truth to the myths and any calico with attitude would agree!!!!!
