Question
How do I keep new alpha cat from pouncing on little Burmese.
Siamese pounces on Burmese after he seeks him out in house. help

Answer
Lynne,

I am assuming they are both neutered/spayed and the age and weight differences are not too outlandish.  Is the Burmese a girl? If they are not neutered, that is something you want to have done pretty quickly!

You don't do anything.  The Siamese an d Burmese have to sort it out between themselves!!!!!  We tend to attribute human motives and emotions to cats, and, for the most part we often mistake their activities.  Cats tend to play very, very roughly with each other.  They have very, very tough skin and biting/scratching really does not hurt them much.  When they "play" fight, they often make lots of noise and it sounds like World War III.  They may even loosen up some fur.  As long as there is no blood drawn I would not worry.  I suspect the Burmese a=can really look after itself.

I would do absolutely nothing.  Let them alone and ignore the noise and "fighting".

Best regards... Norm.
