Exessive urination and water consumuption

Question
My cat is a 13 year old male Manx.  He eats only cat treats and dry food.  Any type of wet food, he eats and immediately vomits.  He has been recently drinking an excessive amount of water and urinating excessively.  He completely fills his litter box in one week and if not cleaned immediately, he will have his bowel movements and urination on the floor.  Do these symptoms sound like something serious?  He is otherwise in very good health.  Thank you for your time!

Answer
It sounds like he could be having some kidney issues.  I would take him to your vet and have them do blood work to rule that out.  It is very common, unfortunately, in senior cats, but if it is caught early enough and treatment started it can greatly prolong your cats life.
