male cats behaviour

i heard from my friends that male cats when they have attained certain age will pee or poo outside the litter box. what are the factors that cause this problem? i have one male cat and one female cat. also, what are the solutions?

Cats don't stop using the litter box when they get to a certain age. They stop using it for a variety of others factors from being sick to stress. If your cats are not using the litter box write back with a details about their situation. Good luck.
