there are a couple of cat that live in my basement. i notice that one of them were really pregnant (nipple are big)is there a way to know how far she is? she is really big on her sides. also what are the chance of her being sick because my cat hasn't had his shot so i been keeping them apart but the room she is in is chilly from being closed off is this self for her.i don't want my cat to get sick

It's is hard to say about the chances of the cat being sick. You just don't know unless they are tested. If they are from a closed household then I would say she most likely isn't sick. To be safe get your cat his shots.
Now as for how far along she is, you need to know when she had her heat period. You can take her to a vet and he should be able to feel her abdomen and kittens and tell you how far along she is. If you can, feed her kitten food. She needs a higher nutritional diet while she is pregnant. A cats gestation period is about 63 days. If she is showing like she is she I would say she is at least 5-6 weeks pregnant. I hoped this helped you a little. Good luck with your soon to be new little ones.
