Sores on cats head

Question
We have recently taken in a stray kitty and noticed a sore above his eye with hair missing, the next day one behind his ear, and today one in front of his ear, all on the same side of his head.  Is there some sort of cream or ointment that will help them heal quicker, and could they be from sleeping under cars?  He often comes in with oil spots on his fur.

Thank you,
Laura

Answer
Hey !

You may need to deep cleanse his fur and purchase a topical flea & tick treatment. Go to www.drsfostersmith.com and purchase a deep cleanse shampoo for cats and Bio Spot also. I suggest you keep him inside of the house to prevent any more of these spots from appearing. KEEP HIM INSIDE THIS IS AN IMPORTANT STEP TO DOMESTICATING HIM YOU MUST KEEP HIM INSIDE AND YOU MUST BATH HIM WITH A DEEP CLEANSING SHAMPOO AND APPLY FLEA & TICK TOPICAL TREATMENT AND YOU ALSO MAY USE FLEA & TICK POWDER ALSO PURCHASE SOME EAR CLENSE AND EYE CLENSE FROM THE SAME WEBSITE AND MAKE SURE HIS GROOMING IS IN TOP STANDARD.

Start feeding him on a schedule by feeding him soft food in the morning and dry food in the evening, that way you can make sure he is getting the steady nutrients he needs. Also it's important that you make an appointment with a local vet and have him neutered and get all of his shots because if you continue to allow him outside without any shots or anything you have a huge chance of him contracting a disease from another cat. If your seriously going to take him in you need to do these things. Also give him one supplemental vitamin a week this should help also with his coat growth. I hope all goes well.
