Question
QUESTION: Hello, I think my cat name Lucy is preg. And I think she is having morning sickness.  Is there anything I can do for to help her not get morning sickness? And is there any kind of food she should eat or not eat? She loves tuna and cat food.  Should she drink milk instead of water? Also should she be taking vitamins? She have been very moody and sleeps alot.  She loves going outside. Should I still let her out there?
ANSWER: Hi Patty, thanks for your question! Do you know when your cat was bred? They normally have morning sickness at about 3 weeks along and usually only for a week or so and then they are fine. I just want to make sure that she is not sick from anything else which is why I am asking about her breeding date. If she is pregnant she should be on a high quality kitten food. She does not need any extra vitamins and she certainly does not need milk. Usually a cat gets very loving when they are pregnant, not usually moody.... so do keep an eye on her to make sure there is nothing wrong with her. Make sure she is still eating and drinking as normal otherwise I would suggest you take her for a vet check up. Regarding going outside... well I never encourage anyone to let their cat outside. There are just too many dangers out there for our precious pets... dogs, wild animals, diseases, poisons, cars etc etc.

QUESTION: Thank u for your answer.. Well I am not too sure when she was bred because I also have 2 male cat too. Plus Lucy love outdoors, we live in like the counrty and there is a male cat out there too.. So, I don't know who the father would be.  One of my male cat is part of Lucy's family.. I got Lucy last year in July and then got shaggy(who came from the same people that I got Lucy from) in like nov.  But not too sure who the father is since there is 3 male cats around here and might be more.  She eat fine and drinks fine.. but sleeps alot.. Just this morning she had alot of sticky stuff all over her and I think it is from morning sickness... I have been trying to keep her inside. She only got moodly when I give her a shower to get that sticky stuff off her.

Answer
Hi Patty, well it really sounds like you have your hands full over there. You may want to get those boys neutered right away before they start fighting or getting ready to breed your little girl again. Then once her kittens are about 8 wks old you can get her spayed but keep her inside until then...
