My Cat has allergies and asthma

My cat has had allergies his whole life. He is 1-1/2 years old. This season is really affecting him. I was wondering if I can give him a very tiny amouny of benydral? He has had a steroid shot before, and I am trying to stay away from using it. Thank you

You may give your cat one half tablet, NOT CAPSULE, of Benedryl. Tablets are smaller and are solid, they are not wrapped in the plastic like coating. Split it in half and give it to your cat. Make sure he swallows it.

I recommend giving him children's benedryl to begin with, just to make sure he will not have any adverse reactions to it.

My tomcat also has asthma and allergies, what a pain! We love these guys, though, don't we?
