adopting from the same litter?

Question
My girlfriend and I are looking into adopting 2 Siamese kittens. We've been looking for some information on the best approach for adopting. What are your thoughts on adopting litter-mates or non-litter mates? We're looking at a Seal and a Red or Blue point, however they are not litter mates. At around 9-14 weeks do they adapt well to each other or is it better to get litter mates? I've seen mixed opinions on this so far and was hoping to get another opinion.

Thanks much,
Kevin

Answer
Kevin,

With kittens in that age range, it really will not matter.  Kittens take to each other pretty readily.  There may be a little hissing, spitting, posturing, and the like, which you just ignore, no matter what!

I would look at the 14 week old end of the age range as 9-11 weeks is really awfully young for Siamese to go to a new home!

Best regards... Norm.
