Question
I have two cats that have been together ever since they were kittens.  one of my cats had kittens and now the other cat is acting aggressive towards every one.  She use to be "my cat" but she even acts aggressive towards me. The mother cat tries to include her and she will come out and watch the mother and the kittens but she hisses and growls at everyone.  Even people.  We have been very patient with her but she growls and tries to scratch my son whenever he comes into my room.  She does want any thing to do with me either.

Answer
Carol,

I am a little confused as to who the aggression problem is with. If the mother cat is aggressive that can be fairly normal as she feels the need to protect her babies and the aggression should decrease over time. If another cat in the household is aggressive and this is a fairly new behavior this cat should be examined by a vet to rule out any medical reasons for feeling under the weather.
