cat meowing

Hi!

I have 3 cats and one of my male cats, he is about 1 year old and neutered, will not stop meowing all night long. I don't know what to do and my husband shuts him in a room every night because it is so loud and he can't sleep... He can still hear him through the shut doors and wants to get rid of him if this does not stop! What can I do!?!?!

I would take him to your vet for a physical.  If you have had him for awhile, and this is a new behavior it's possible that their is something wrong with him, so it would be a good idea to rule that out.  If it's not anything physical, then the trick is to find out why he is crying.  Food or attention are the usual culprits.  If he was ever fed something special or even his normal food at night, and now he's not that could be why he's crying.  If you are gone all day, and are usually only home at night, that could be another reason - he wants you to get up and spend time with him.  If something in the household has changed, you've moved, a person or another pet is no longer there - all of these could be causing him to be upset.  I wish I could help a little more, but if he's ok physically, then I would just try to find out exactly what it is he wants, and try to satisfy his needs.
