Two calico ctas

I have just bought a calico cat today.  I took her home and my other calico cat really got into it with her while my black and white cat left her alone.  My mom said she heard that if you put two calico cats together in the same house they will fight till the death!!! Is that true? I really don't want my cats to get hurt!

That isn't true. I have two Calicos and they get along fine. The reason they are fighting is that cats are territorial. Your old cat is just defending her territory. You need to follow a cat intro protocol. Here's a link to one; http://www.aspca.org/site/PageServer?pagename=pets_introducingcat
