Question
I have two cats. I had a 1-gallon water tank for them, but it started leaking so I replaced it with a 5-gallon model. They seem to be afraid of the new tank.

I assume they will drink eventually, and not simply die of dehydration. Is there anything I can do to get them to drink?

Hi John,

They are just afraid. Give them a little bit of time to check out the tank. When they figure out it is not going to jump up and grab them ;) they will be drinking from it. There is nothing you can do except maybe show them it is safe by sticking your hand in it. They'll be drinking out of it soon. Good luck.
