Question
Our 5 year old cat has scaring on her eyes from a feline herpes outbreak, causing her eyes to be very cloudy.  This has impaired her vision making it hard for her to recognize people, she will be skittish at myself or my husband when we enter the room until we say her name to let her know it's us.  Is there any treatments or surgeries that can correct or improve this?

Answer
Hi Nina,

Treatment depends on how bad her eyes are. You need to take her to your vet to see what can be done. Hopefully it is not too bad and something can be done. There are medical and surgical treatments for this. Your vet will know the best way to proceed. Good luck.
