My cat has also been diagnosed with this disorder we hwve treated with prednasone as well as another antibiotic .he started to recover however my cat now has become weak in the hind end and is starting to drag its self a bit , is this just furter deteriation or something else his rear legs move but are very weak

Remember, I am not a vet.  However, given the drugs your cat is getting, I wonder if you are running into some side effect issues.  I would get back to your vet with a full description of what is going on and would do it immediately.

BTW, prednisone is a steroid. It is very, very possible your kitty is abreacting to one of the drugs. Be prepared to tell your vet exactly when you noticed the untoward symptoms.
