i found three kittens that i believe to be about 4 days old and none of them can pass a bowl movement, they can urinate when stimulated but that is it. it is to the point that their tummies are hard and extended i have tried rubbing but what else can i do i am worried for them.

It sounds like they may be impacted. If so, I would take them to a vet and see what he can give them to get them started again. Kittens that young should have one bowel movement a day. Kittens bellies should be full and a bit tight if they are getting all they can eat.

What are they being fed? How much? If mama is feeding them, she is probably taking care of the bowel movements.

Either way, it would not hurt for your vet to see them.
